not a suprise at all, and actually I would prefer the gig without the background singers, I find no value of them being on tour.
andrew fischer wrote:Hi MRB,

of course, it was all the same 1.5 hrs set. Not a single change.

Thanks to Russian fans who bought the memory stick right after the gig (presale is at the entrance and you get the stick with the 1st part of the recording after the gig along with the code to download the 2nd part), I have already got the first half of the concert recording and will get the second part shortly.

If anybody is interested in getting this recording and saving EUR 30, please free to contact me on my mailbox andrew-fischer@yandex.ru

best regards
Andrey

Hi again,

I would rather agree, but where did you get the info that there were backing vocals at the gig?
They were present in London, but absent in Montreux and Sochi.

Can you tell that the recorded show is the CZ gig?

Were these the clips you saw yesterday?

When the Grey Skies Turn to Blue: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHm0ZTBdkaw

And I can privately upload the whole movie to share with you if you wish.
I'm not 100% sure, but they were either exactly the same or some re-edited versions with minor changes.
Thanks for your kind offer, but I think I prefer Rea's music much more than his visual stuff.

German TV 'interview'

http://youtu.be/Pnw_qwMnwGw

For the non-german speakers i picked out some points of the interview.
He talks about the concert in Nuremberg being stopped due to a severe
nosebleed and that he was in hospital in Düsseldorf for that just before
the interview. He says about the song list that it changes not very much
these days, as he is convinced by 'tour managers in Germany' that people
expect him to play 'the hits', but now he plays with a fresh 'look' and
that it is okay for him that way. Also his wife didn't want him go
touring, and he states again that he lives for music, not for
show-business or record sales.

I just keep my fingers crossed he can make it to the end of this exhausting tour.
Bleeding nose, concert in Nuremberg stopped, a visit to the hospital in Duesseldorf, his wife was against this tour...
Take care,
Chris

It seems he opens up about his physical condition, like he was always vague about it.
You get better why he plays what he plays and how long. Hard working, love the man for it!
Let's keep our fingers ceossed he'll have a great Tour!

Hello all.
I saw Chris Monday in Dusseldorf, and Tuesday in Dortmund.
I followed not everything the last few days, but my suspicions are correct now I read these articles and the interview have seen.
There was much difference between these two concerts in Dortmund Chris was also later on stage 20.25 pm.
This may also be related to the soccer game, too many people were in the hall later
But Chris was less energetic, the encore, let dancing was clearly passive, Chris was clearly tired.
I am impressed by what he does, but if it's all good for him ?, I doubt it.
He still has a long tour. I hope it is not a Road too far , and we to meet him in Amsterdam fit and healthy.
I wish him much strength with this heavy tour.

He obviously has his better and worse days. Last tour in 2012 Chris wasn't in top shape in Amsterdam, but 2 days later in Antwerp he obviously was in better shape.
