I search through the internet........ but just couldn't find any of it.
Anyone has this lyric?
The man The voice The guitar
An important correction: "I'd exchange all my victories..."Jim M wrote: I've exchanged all my victories
For just a short time to see
The morning sunrise
On my love and me
I've noticed some kind of mistakes like that above in the books and I think that's because Chris writes the poems first and he composed the songs themselves later. And the printed lyrics are Chris' original poems which may change during the recording process; depending the mood and stuff.elangelo wrote: Printed lyrics are sometimes inaccurate, unfortunately. For example, in the 'Waiting for Love' lyrics there was a line "So full of life but refusing to shine" while in the book it said "So full of lies..." Big difference, huh? And a simple mistake in "Bajan Blue": they printed "Now what I love can be more" instead of "no more" that Chris was singing. Oh well...
Honestly, I don't think that 'full of lies' and 'what I love can be more' make sense, just like suddenly calling the song "...between Highway 61&48". I really think it's just that the printers did some hackwork and Chris didn't check. It happens sometimes, not only with lyrics, for example I think that the drum processing on TRFHBN's "Blues for Janice" was inaccurate as well at the end of the track.chrismiller wrote: Especially seeing that both versions make sense.
