Between the eyes of love I call your name
Behind the guarded walls I used to go
Upon a summer wind there's a certain melody
Takes me back to the place that I know
Down on the beach
THanks Peter !
Very funny bit ! Sounds like the Rea's had great christmases !
Where on earth did you find this GEM ?
I bet Chris would love to see this again.

Great clip. Thank you for posting it. It's a biographical item and it shows that Italians are different in some ways. For most of us a tomato is a tomato, for instance. But it isn't for them. They have different tomatoes for different dishes and ..yes, they use a lot of garlic as well as basilico (Genovese, Napoletano, grande letuga, piccolo verde a palla), rucola (rughetta), Santo Regio, poverito, erba stella, senape bianco, pizza oregano, just to name a few! I guess that's why Chris Rea's music is so unique and tasty. With lotsa garlic!
Best regards to you all,
Chris

Based on his comments maybe we could convince Chris REa to host a cooking show !
It does sound like a great meal !
However I'm not sure( in light of his illness) that he can still eat that way -unfortunately !
