Hey everyone,

First of all it's great to be back with you all.

Hey Pab, to be honest I was about to reply when the site became down so... better later than never.

Thanks for posting it here, that's a real rarity nowadays. Unfortunately I've got no the money to buy it. (Of course :) )
In fact I've sorted the money out for a kind of Strat-shape guitar I would buy soon so I have to give up on the CR Signature one. :(

Hey Phil,

If you already have the pictures somewhere on the web then right click on them and choose 'copy URL' or something like that. Then when posting click the URL button above and paste the URL between the .

Otherwise start with uploading the images on a website e.g. Flickr then do the same.

All the best,
Chris

Hi Philippe,
Thanks for these fanastic pictures. When I think of Chris with a guitar it's with one of these I usually picture him with although that is not the case anymore as Chris has many guitars as Chris M.and PAB have shown by the posts here.
Tina :) :)
Pick up the pieces and start again.

Hi all... :D

As much as I love Pinky and Bluey on all the classics,

it's his Italia Maranello solo that blows me away on Highway 61 & 49.....!!!!!

Here's a beautiful rendition on a Fender '72 Telecaster Thinline that Chris Miller mentioned at the beginning of this thread....

HI everybody,

Sorry Philippe, but what you can see on YouTube is not a Telecaster. In fact, I'm not sure it's a Fender. The body is closed to, but the equipment is different. Maybe a copy, maybe a customized one. If only I could read what is written on the head.... Someone knows??

Do not want to be a smarty - pants , but R.Ahwai always plays the same brown Fender Stratocaster , not Telecaster , and uses no effects to give that jazzee feel .....very under-rated player :D

Hi all,

I think Robert Ahwai plays "Blade" guitars nowadays (since the 90's actually). In the 80's he played Fender Strats with Rosebood Fingerboards.

Exactly Tobi,

I finally found what was this type of Strat copy using by Robert, and you're right, it's a Blade.
Maybe this one: http://www.thomann.de/be/blade_rh_2_classic_mv.htm

Hi PAB,

in fact it looks quite like Robert's main axe. I think his guitar is modified, though. Different pickups - a combination of three different pickups (humbuckers and singlecoils I think).

Cheers

argggggg

sorry to all....

i always do the same mistake...

despite having both models... a telecaster Custom FMT HH rosewood and a stratocaster Chris Rea signature, i alway made confusion with the two names....

soryy.... in my opinion, R. Haway play with a Stratocaster.....
