can't believe this is the Farewell Tour - almost can't bear it been a fan for years and tired to go to each tour.
Absolutely fabulous evening - Chris at his absolute best - what a loss if he doesn't tour anymore! Have to admit I shed a tear when he played Fool if you thinks its over!
Missing him already - oh all right then I'll just have to play a CD!
I've seen Chris on all his tours in Birmingham since 1983 and must say that I very much enjoyed the concert at The Symphony Hall. It was one of his best and only beaten in my opinion by a Christmas one at the NEC in the late 80's. It is a pity that Chris doesn't interact with the crowd as he has a really good sense of humour but his playing (and that of the band) was top notch, and I thought that Head Out On The Highway, Work Gang, Stainsby Girls, Road To Hell and I Don't Know What It Is were all excellent. Good lucvk to him in his new venture - I shall continue to explore and enjot the Blue Guitars box set.
