Pictures of rare items

Post by tobi777 »

Hi all,

I'd love to see your rare items you've collected over the years - e.g. limited releases, autographs, tour books, badges, adverts and other memorabilia.

I start with this very rare tour itinerary from the '93 tour.

Hi,

I had some struggles, too until I found out that apparently it is not possible to directly upload pictures.
You have to upload them to a picture host (a lot of free ones available, e.g. https://picload.org/
There you get a link for each picture and in your post here you can either post the HTML link with the "URL" button or you can post the direct link to the picture via the "Img" button. If you click on either button a code like [[img]][[/img]] will appear and in between you have to paste the address. This will work.

Thank you Toby for launching this branch!

To start with, here is Russian 2007 musical calendar (very rare!) with Chris pictured at St. Petersburg Ice Palace upon his gig on 11/03/2006, signed upon my meeting with him before his next St. Petesburg gig on 26/02/2008:

Hi,

I bought a set of press pictures, from different times of Chris his live. They are wonderful:

And on the last Tour, a one out of 500 sets of Prints of posters of La Passione, handsigned by Chris:

Hope they will show up.

Hi Chris fans.

I just use this forum for this topic.
I am unfortunately not so smart to show Pictures of rare items from Chris.
I've certainly in my possession.

But I have another item that I can maybe get a response, or someone who has this item.

This is a misprint of a CD

This CD is from Alfred Brendel [classical piano].
In reality, should be on the CD music of Alfred Brendel.
In which he plays Haydn.

It is this CD.

1986 First Issue Release PolyGram Philips CD or Brendel's Legendary Haydn Piano Sonatas !!!
Joseph Haydn (1732-1809).

1-3. Piano Sonata Es-dur Hob.XVI: 52
4-5. Piano Sonata G-dur Hob.XVI 40
6-8. Piano Sonata D-dur Hob.XVI 37
9. Andante con Variazioni f-moll Hob.XVII: 6
Alfred Brendel - piano
Philips 416365-2 (1986) Made in Germany.

Barcode 0 to 28,941 from 63,652 to 2.

But is in reality on this CD music by Chris.

The album Chris Rea Herzklopfen.
Label:
Polystar (3) - 831,082-2.

CD was produced by Polygram in Hanover.
West Germany
Printed in West Germany
Barcode and other identification numbers.

• Barcode: 042283108226
• Matrix / deviation: 831082-2 01 #
• Label Code: LC 4324.

This is sometimes known, in people who use this forum

There are more copies of this album in circulation?

How strange is this CD?

I'm just wondering if this is a known given.
I like Chris Rea fan and collector, will find this very special CD and a nice collectible.

Perhaps a reaction from someone.

I have pictures of the item.
Maybe someone else can put me on this forum.
Comments on my mail address chris1951@online.nl.

REAgarts Ton.

PS.

Sorry for the bad English, was translated with google, the grammar will probably not be correct.
that's the reason that I do not make much use of the site.

Herewith a reaction to tobi777.

I own this Travel Itinerary too.
With the added Fax Gerry Raymond Barker.
Regarding the catering.
This includes breakfast during the tour
This is a list of what needs to be present for breakfast in the hotels
during the tour.

Also I am in possession of the Travel Itinerary or Down the Stony Road Tour
2003
U K & Ireland.

I hope to post pictures in the future

Maybe some of you are not on Facebook so I post here what I've already posted on Facebook yesterday:

A very rare item I bought recently:

12" promo single (France) with "Raincoat & A Rose" on the A-side and "Diamonds" on the flip side.

If you look closely you see they printed "...coast" instead of "...coat" on the sleeve and on the label!

The back side of the cover has the same design - only "Diamonds" instead of "Raincoast..." printed.
