But Bart why did you remove some old? I don't see the green grin...

Is it okay to send you the rest of icons by email?

Hello;

I just couldn;t add more smilies then this, so I had to make a selection ... sorry if I removed one of your favorites... It has been very much work, so I hope we can keep it this way for a while ;) ;)

smiley-packs

Post by gjvg »

Bart,
Your forum is build with PHPBB
A possibility for smileys is the smiley-packager

http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/2290

I use it myself. Works great.

Yes, I know this possibility (thanks anyway)... The problem is that I had to build the 'header' and 'footer' into the forum header and footer. This mend that the pop-up from the smilies contained the complete header (with menu, etc.) and this didn't fit. So I had to made a page for the pop-up myself and then chage the link to this pop-up screen (compare: THIS (the original popup) with THIS.). A second problem is that I wanted to use the smilies that are much larger then normal smilies, like this one: :smt045 . When I change the smilies in the forum admin screen (or use the program you sugested) this doesn't affect the popup I created myself. So if I want to change or add smilies, I'd have to re-write this page. I hope I did make myslef a bit clear what the problem is... Besides this, I am an absolute 'layman' when it comes to website building and the (many) posibilties of PHPBB....
