On the beach special remix (6'00) 1985

Hi is the special remix version of on the beach 1985 (12") better than the original album version or the re-recorded 1988 version ?
And is it available on cd ?

On the Beach comes from 1986 single and album (radio and full-lenght versions). Can you please give us any link that could prove us this version really exists and it was released anyway?

I know Special remix(4'20'') and Extended Special Remix(4'43'') of On the Beach, both from 12'' single, 1986. Where did you find information about the version you're speking about?

If I may say so....there were several versions of the tune in question, but all issued after 1986 (that is: after the '86 album "On the Beach"). For instance: "On the Beach - Summer '88" (3'44), on a three inch single, "On the Beach" (7'' Version, playing time: 6'50) on the four track "Auberge" single CD, back in 1991, and at least two (2) 'live' versions of the same tune; one from Munich (March 18, 1993), playing time: 9'40 (!), and one from Paris, France (November, 1991), playing time: 4'30, with Max Middleton's solo....

The first link is what I mentioned - two special remixes, which are not too rare. But the second one is very amazing, I've never come across it before and neither heard about extended Let It Loose, Heartbeat and 6 minute On the Beach. Thank you for this link!

Or a radically different version. Like a sort of dance version .
On the beach is one of my favorite tunes .
I like the album version and the 88 re-recording.

The special extended remix is brand differrent from the album full-length version. Its running time is 4'43''. Not close to dance remix, but a bit faster, something like later live versions.

Yes they did. I've never seen this video, but I know that it surely exists.

I have three versions:

1- the radio remix, fast but without extended Fender rhodes solo ( circa 4 minutes)
2- extended radio remix with final Fender piano solo (amazing)
2- a relaxing alternative version with not so much guitar (the piano does 80%) much slower than the radio (it begins with shoreline sounds)... do you have it?
