Post by MIGHTYQUINN »

I would appreciate the folowing info:
"All You Need Is Love" was performed live by Chris Rea, Sammy Brown &
others. When & where was this performed?
What was the occasion?
Was this ever released on CD or DVD?
Was this a radio or tv broadcast?
Thank You for your help & assistance,
Steve

Update info: "All You Need Is Love" was performed @ G8 Summit in
Birmingham, England in 1998
I still need to know if it was released on CD or DVD?
Also, was it broadcasted on radio or television?
Thank You,
Steve

Hi Steve, how are you doing?

Do you mean Sam Brown, the British singer-songwriter? Well, she participated on November 29, 2002, in this great "Concert for George" (Harrison) at Royal Albert Hall in London. But I doubt Chris Rea was there. Sam Brown's contribution, unfortunately, was not included on the DVD and CD afterwards.
See if you can get some info on the page related to this London concert.
Hope this will help you with your search.
Regards,
Chris

Hello;

It has taken a while, but I have looked it up...

it was indeed the G8 Summit in Birmingham 1998 and it was performed by:
Chris Rea, Sam Brown, All saints and Mick Hucknall. I don;t think it was ever officially released on CD but I do have the CD of this show (Chris also played Texas and Stainsby Girls solo).
