hi Tina,

The e-mail address I was using when registering here Is no longer in use but it seems that the e-mail I sent you came from there.

Maybe Bart can let me know how to change it?

I have sent you my current address. :)

glad to see everyone here!

my question goes to Peter S...:

Would you mind telling us when the mentioned "the Lost Tape" bootleg was recorded? What period of Chris's career does it belong to?
And how you came across it and got it? I never heard 'bout such release, however though I know definitely all the tracks from that list you put on the 1st page, except these 3 ones.
Moreover, I can mention some more very rare tracks, that aren't in that list:

My Love Is Big Like John Wayne (live Cologne 2001)
Toby's Blues (2002 TV appearance)
Steel River Blues new version (again TV appearance)
Moonriver (live Moscow 2006)
This Kind of Love (live 1993)
I Don't Wanna Go (lives 1984)
Dino (Only to Fly UK only single 1996)
Your Love Is Setting Me Free(mixed by Watermen/Phats&Small 1999)
Kyoto Blue (Blue Cafe japanese 1998)
Ameno Nakano Kiirono Herumetto (the same release)
It's in Her Smile (Parting Shots 1997)
I Left My Heart in San Francisco (from John Scott memorial concert)
On Broadway (memorial too)
Auf Immer (Bittersweet Krays soundtrack promo)

Of course, I could add more, f/e, additional work with Patricia Kaas, Maggie Reily.
I've got a recording of Candy Dulfer's "Lily Was Here" in annotation to which they say it's Chris who plays guitar.
This version is really a bit different from that one we all know with Dave Stewart, but I'm not sure whether it's Chris on guitar here 'coz nowhere else I haven't come across such info...

Hi Andrew! Good to see you back, :D

I have "Lily Was Here", but it's Candy Dulfer with Dave Stewart, no mention of Chris Rea on it.
(Although I've heard the same comment before...)

Do you actually have any of those TV appearances on your list recorded?

Hi Lily!

I've got audiofiles with those TV appearances. They are shortcuts from unknown broadcasts.
And I've got an audiofile named "Chris Rea - Lily was here" that differs from the well-known radio edit with C.Dulfer and D.Stewart. Nothing more can I say... :?

The 1st one was only released as a vynil single in 1999. This is not remix but special additional work by Watermen for Chris in his TRTHp.2 period. An awesome soulful tune with quality electro-dance line. Expressive lyrics and wonderful slide solos. I prefer club mix version (6.29) but there were 2 or 3 more mixes and a radio edit (too short).

the 2nd is a cd-version of all summer long 2002 single and only short radio version appears here.
My friend in Moscow owns a 12'' vynil single with 2 remixes - by DJ Pippi with Jose Padilla on spanish guitar (8.24) and a great techno remix by Katcha (7.23) with unusual and very beautiful guitar samples (don't remember them in original album version, but they're surely played by Chris himself)

Excuse me, I've mistaken, Yor Love Is Setting Me Free was also released on CD single. I've mixed it up with I'll Send You All My Love 2006 single (also oh too rare)

Does anybody know to which B side "Anytime It Rains" belong to?

He sings in a higher pitch that almost doesn't sound like him.

Love the song, :D

"EVERYTIME It Rains" is B-side for italian Josephine 1985 release.
Chris is at his 80's style and does sound very organically and familiar-tuned.
Can't catch what do you mean saying he sings in a higher pitch...
