I bought the 2 DVD for a good prize in a local shop and I was stunned. You can´t beat the quality of performance when coupled with such a price.
One of the top 5 dvds I own.

I second that Tina. I love seeing Chris talking about anything... since he's the kind of musician who doesn't talk too much during gigs.
Really DVD2 is great from the first second until the last... I love when he's talking in the Eau Rouge turn in Spa; that's my favourite racing track...
And those shots of my city... Gee I wondered what people would think of it as it's snowing hard in March plus they've successfully filmed the ugliest and oldest tram of Budapest... :D but we really showed our attitude at the beginning of the show... if you take a close look on the audience from the background view that's me on the right, tenth row, wearing a red jumper and looking very happy

Hi everybody,
Just some words to Chris Miller about Francorchamps. Maybe you don't know that .....
A long long time ago, when I was a young young (and fit) boy, I did ride on the circuit of Spa the day before the 24H. Not on race obviously, I was just part of a "Peugeot" team with a friend who was pilot in it (I did change the right rear wheel during the race, not very glorious :( ) . But I understood why the "Raidillon" was so hard and impressing. At the moment you begin to "climb" it, you don't see anything but the sky and the top of the trees. You have to count down the right moment to turn left, as a blind pilot. If you don't, you're in the gravel garden.
That's very special.

Sorry, it was not about CR, but he likes races too. :?

Hey Pab,

Thanks a lot for telling this... it could really be a lifetime experience.. I would do anything for the same. Well, still impressed I can only say a huge 'lucky you'!! :D
And also lucky CR who rides the track in a Lexus, just like usual afternoon killing time... :D
Thank you again,
Chris

Hi all.... :D

Getting back to the original question on this topic.....I just got my Auberge Boxed CD.
(with the cut-out car... :D ), I also got the poster and the advert from the Auberge Tour.

I love vintage racing cars!

Even better than scoring something GREAT from CR yourself I've just rec'd a great gift from Thom (imagemkr).
Thom found a double vinyl set called Chris Rea A Profile in a used record store.Since this is a Canadian release and he does not have a turntable he's sent it to me and i can hardly wait to put into my itunes using my new USB turntable.I've seen this on a UK website but a tad pricey so like the holy grail to me.
Thanks Thom there's a Trev Dealy Harley shirt on the way.
