Site of Chris Rea and his upcoming Tour are open again. So is his FB updated.
No news yet o an release though!

Praque is added as second date in the Tour today.

So 30 october he'll play at the 02 Arena.

Hi Ann,

this sounds strange, as I found the tour poster for the Prague back yet in March.



As far as I remember, Salzburg was the latest addition to the tour schedule, prior to that Prague date was the opener. Zurich and Monaco dates were also added later.

I feel quite lost in what direction this all will go.
I think there was a plan that was realistic, but the record labels were making trouble.
So no project, only "a best of tour", great, but I would like more openess what to expect.
Chris said he will do songs in a new way, but only small parts. not really news.
He proably does save the Tour, by making great music, like he always does. But his musical direction at this moment? I haven't the slightest idea.
That is what gives me this lost feeling.

I bet Anto Drennan still remembers playing 89-91 stuff with Chris during his Naked Truth tour...
And Kirt Rust may recall playing Stony Road material live in 2002-2003...

To be serious, I expect only one new song and this would be a La Passione tune.
