Paul Casey to support at RAH

Post by mark hughes »

I received an e-mail today from the Royal Albert Hall to say that Paul Casey will be supporting Chris Rea on Friday and he will start on stage at 7.30 and Chris Rea will be on stage at 8.30 and not 7.30 as stated on the tickets. Just thought I'd let anyone know, who may be going, about the changes to the evenings entertainment. Paul Casey supported on the Road to Hell & Back tour and was pretty good.

Can't wait though!!!! :D :D :D :D

Behind the guarded walls I used to go
Upon a summer wind there's a certain melody
Takes me back to the place that I know
Down on the beach

I wonder does this mean that Chris will still do his 2 hour show which he has done up to now or has he cut it short in some way.It will be interesting to see what happens.

When I went to see Chris in Birmingham last weekend, Paul Casey did a half hour slot (7.30-8.00pm), and after half an hour's interval, Chris walked on stage with The Delmonts and played straight through until 10.30pm. It was a fantastic evening and I'm looking forward to seeing them again if ever he decides to go on tour again. He did one encore, but don't expect anymore.

Hi tescoGirl,
Thankyou for that.I was hoping that might be the case.I think with the health problems that Chris has we have to hope for the best but I feel as long as he is able to tour he will.I am looking forward to next Wednesday :) :) not too far away now. Thanks for that information
