HBN Concerts Capacity

Post by lilybee »

Can someone please mention the capacity of HBN concerts you've gone to?
On average how many people on the venues, 15,000? 5,000? etc...
Just want to have an idea...

Amsterdam HMH, max. capacity 5500, although most likely not sold out, but hard to judge as most places are standing.

Antwerpen lotto arena 7500 max, not sure if this is also at this concert, as they mention standing places in the general information

In Prague on Monday, there were around 3,000 spectactors. It was not completely sold out but the atmosphere was good. It took place in an ice-hockey stadium.

Thanks for the info everybody! :D

I guess his concerts were bigger in the 90s, but still, with these many fans all over today, Chris should do pretty good on his concerts. Add to that the sales from his own label and he's got a sweet deal going on. I know I support him. 8)

Hi,

i think that booking such big halls like Westfalenhalle 1 in Dortund or other countries is a big risk today.

If half of the halls are empty there is a big gap. On the site of the westfalenhalle you can see the prices of all halls.

Westfalenhalle 1 15700 €
Westaflenahle 3 a 2600 €

If its the reason why Chris is booking smaller halls ? Dont know. Maybe he likes to play in smaller halls with atmoshere.

What do you think ?

I guess it is somewhere between both ... He stated often that he didn't want to do these big venues any more (lack of athmosphere for his new musical direction?!?) and of course because of this new direction he attrackts an other (perhaps a bit less) audience then back in the "old" days, and someone has to pay for renting the hall :D
