It's definitely "the Shadows'" sound all right on disc 1. It's hard to believe but with this album the early 60s are back! I don't know how many of CR's fans remember "the Shadows", as well as I do, but they sure bring back memories. It was the best dancing music at that time.
Discs 2 and 3 both sound also promising.

No matter what is the band name or the project, his music sounds always just like Chris Rea

Sure the Shadows can be heard from the instrumental album, but there are also some hints
from previous Chris Rea instrumentals from way back when

This will ease the waiting a bit, but only a bit
