Bonus track on DVD 1

Post by marcolino »

Hello everybody, I've recently bought "The road to hell and back" double DVD (ordinary edition). On the back cover is written that DVD 1 has a bonus track, "Fool (if you think is over)", but I haven't seen this track at all; is there a way to access to this track, perhaps is an "hidden" one?

Greetings

Ciao Marcolino!

Just "click" under the name Chris Rea, in the middle, between the first name - Chris - and the last name - Rea - when the second opening comes on the screen with the words "live at Birmingham....." - and there will be a bonus track: "Fool if you think it's over" - live!
Enjoy,
Chris

Hi,

I have watched the Fool track a few times and I have always thought that Chris looked very emotional in the last shot.

Anyone else think the same?

Hello Peter,
Yes, each time I play the bonus track I get the same, or similar, impression. Chris is very emotional towards the end of this song, up to the point as he would cry...
This only shows that he is all flesh and blood....
Best regards to you,
Chris

Yeah Zeljko I remember I've spent a whole afternoon to find it :D Chris was very tricky on this one.
A great addition to the DVD; that look on CR's face during the final riff... ah that's telling everything.

Anyway does anybody know who the guy in the background who plays the acoustic is?

He used to say this was the only song where he didn't play guitar!

Hi all,

It's Paul Casey, relatively young Irish songwriter and singer.

I think Chris Rea had helped him launch his career...
Best regards to all,

Wasn't Paul Cassey the opening act on that tour ?
And obviously sat in on some songs.

Hey everyone,

Well that's Paul Casey then... of course I've heard his name before (the never-happened-fireflies) but that was all. Thanks for your help Chris.

Well Jim there was no opening act in Budapest and to be honest I don't remember Paul Casey on stage at all... though he probably was there during Fool but that wasn't the last track; you know the whole stage went black then and Chris sang one more song with only one spotlight on him. So in the meantime Mr Casey (probably) disappeared and we couldn't notice him anymore.
And the funniest thing is that I don't know what was that song... really :(

My mistake.I've never had the good fortune to see CR live.
I'm certain he toured with him sometime and was promoted on CR's site ?
Did anyone see him ? Which tour ?

Hello;

Paul Casey was the support act during the UK branch of the 2006 tour and was added on stage for the last number (Fool...). He didn't play in the rest of Europe (as far as I know). Since that tour I have had a good contact with Paul's manager...
