PAUL CASEY

Post by davidgsmith »

I enjoyed Paul Casey when I saw Chris twice recently and wish I had bought his CD. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to get one, and also his new CD? (Reasonably priced - of course!!) Thanks

If you like Chris Rea - you'll like Paul Casey's Songs in Open Tuning. Very bluesy and influenced by the main man himself. Chris must think very highly of him to ask him to support him on his farewell tour - maybe passing on his superior music knowledge and a parting gift to his legion of fans by unearthing this young talent! However, I can't wait to see both of them in Hammersmith.

I saw Paul supporting Chris Rea in Oxford, he was brilliant full of enthusiam and excellent self written songs. I dare anyone to say different. I bought his CD and have not stopped playing it he compares to Blunt, and Gray he deserves to get the same recognition.

Hey guys
Yeah I was at the Hammersmith Apollo in London where he supported Chris. He's just brilliant. I found this online... click on the link below and you can hear him do an interview on BBC radio where he talks about tour with Chris and he plays 2 songs live- very cool
