Guitar riffs

Post by lilybee »

Has anybody noticed how Chris uses the same guitar riffs on different songs? I'm listening to Latin Blues, from Blue Guitars, the song "How I know it's you" and it has the same riff from "All summer long". Great music.

Ok, my bad. I meant the piano is almost identical in these two songs. :-)

Yes, I noticed just that...but Chris uses this so cleverly that in the end he expresses two different feelings with same two riffs...
GENIUS...

Lily you're very correct in saying Chris uses the same riffs time to time.
Regarding Blue Guitars, well don't blame me as I'm sure it's all clear for everyone else, but I was listening 60's & 70's and suddenly found out that Ain't That Just The Prettiest Thing is a kind of cover to Work Gang. I got amazed as I didn't notice that before.
