Julia is a good song, but I liked Money Live better.
The time between the launch of his new album and the start of his tour last Saturday is too short for me to 'judge' the new songs, I always need some time :D

So please watch a whole gig and say what you think.
I really had goosebump moments.
Hello Ann,

you´re complete right; we all have to see on ourselves. The first impressions from Youtube-Phone-clips do not tell anything. So I look forward to the concert that I will join. And I have to admit, I almost can´t wait to listen to Chris`music again :-) All the best!

Have heard the live version of road ahead from the Paris Gig: The synthesizer in the Jam-part is awesome! Love this unique combination of Space- and Bluesrock. He should do this more often 8)

Thanks for the link! I think it sounds wonderful, just like that 'Moon River' back in 2006

He can do it and it sounds great. He did Stainsby girls that way and a big guitarpart after the singing.
I think it was special. Goosebumps. Really.

Hi all,
The Tour is a week old now and it's weird I can find no reviews. Only photo's.
Anyone seen a review? Maybe I missed it. I saw a small one, hardly a review.

Well, at least we see what we see on YouTube! Several new songs, very nice versions of Stainsby Girls, Nothing Left Behind and Two Lost Souls. Chris didn't look energetic in Amsterdam, but in Paris he seemed to be enjoying himself, dancing and smiling at the audience.

He enjoyed himself too here in Amsterdam. YT is misleading.
The angles are different. I was in row 3 and saw the whole show. The made a pretty start and he got fuelled by the reactions of the public.

Hello MRB,

me waiting for St Petersburg gig on Nov the 15th, been promised to get 2 free tickets by the gig promoter in return for my help in advertising which is actually very scarce and ticket sales are pretty poor. Tried to contact promotion authorities for radio or TV interviews or meet & greet with the artist - no luck, everyone is dead silent. No any news on other gigs, neither on Chis's health which is the only thing I am happy not to hear any news on.

That's strange indeed. Chris is quite famous and popular in Russia (I think more popular than in The Netherlands). Is there a huge increase in ticket price this year? Has the new album promoted poorly? Do people have enough to see the same show over and over again?
