Hi there,

Anybody knows why the Russian Chris Rea website closed?

It was up there for a few years but they have been gone for about a month now.

I used to enjoy browsing it, even though I don't speak a word of Russian! ...

It was well organized. Whose site was it? Anybody knows?

It was a Ukranian site, although it's all in Russian (makes no difference, of course), I was a member of their forum, but then the webmaster (I don't remember his name, I think Andrew Fischer does) stopped to look after it, it became full of SPAM, so we realized that he simply didn't have time or interest anymore. So now, I guess, the hosting contract is over and he decided not to pay for the site anymore.

Wow!!! I decided not to go (for now). Just one new song (compared to 2006/2008), and the prices are 30% higher! Or am I wrong - how much did you pay?

455$ for 3 row center (26)
Vitas1979 my friend from Rostov-NA-Donu bought 9 row center (350$)
On gallery (balcony) center (i think) costs 70-100$

I visited the Blue cafe site. It's very good, I have the google toolbar, and it translates the page for you. I like the section where there are chord guides to actually play some of his songs.

The new domaine is chrisrea.info, but if you write chrisrea.in.ua, you would automatically get to the regained site!

Unfortunately, the webmaster is still working on the general site, that's why the full discography (singles etc.) is not back yet. Hope to find it there soon.
