Good question , Peter .......... the writer of the movie Soft Top Hard Shoulder was fellow Glaswegian Peter Capaldi ( I know his brother-in-law , and he recently told me that Peter Capaldi was delighted with the music CR supplied for his movie)The director was Stefan Schwartz

My question !........Legend has it that Magdalene's original singer was David Coverdale .....who later joined Deep Purple ......whose guitarist is name-checked in the sleevenotes of Blue Street(Five Guitars), as Chris is a big fan of his slide guitar playing................who is he ????? ..clue ; he replaced Richie Blackmore

I guess that would be Peter Capaldi (writer) and Stefan Schwartz (director).
