Hi Lily,
I knew that someone would write this. It is funny that Chris himself express in this song that they acutally have nothing in common. :)

Thanks for the link, quite good.

who suits best to Chris?

Hey there!
Just a question. If you would be able to arrange a concert with Chris Rea and a couple of further more artists. Which artists would you choose?

And would you like to see him playing with another artist for a duet or something like that?
To be honest I myself have no idea. :)

Adrian Rea?

Hi all!
I have read on the beach album someone with the name Adrian Rea played the drums. Is he a relative of Chris? I never heard about it.

Re: Why Chris Rea ????????

Hi! I think it is because he just loves music. It comes straight from the heart and goes directly into ours. Yes I agree with Chris, that especially sensitive people do notice that. But maybe it is also a matter of taste. Unfortunately I know (and love) a lot of people who cannot do with his music. ...

Re: Miraval Estate in south of France

I know you don't understand any of it (it's worth to watch, however, because of the clips). So Chris talks here on his F1 Hungaroring visits; on his illness; on the misunderstandings of the Farewell tour; on the ROTFHB and Hofner guitars and his newest upcoming project... and on his estate and stud...

Re: Autumn 2008

Thanks for the info. That is really too bad as I would buy a ticket to every concert if I could simply hear the Delmonts play for 2 hours. I LOVED it! True exquisite band work and the music was FUN. Hi Peter, hi Jennifer (?), I wish there would be a possibility to vote on this forum or another to g...

Re: Chris In Dublin

Hi Tina, Chris and Lily, I am also ambivalent of the concert. Actually I enjoyed the music very much and Chris was very lively, but the atmosphere in the audience was lala. As they announced this concert (I dont know when it was - a year ago?) I expected something else from the tour. I really wonder...

Re: Looking for the summer II

Ah, I see, thank you Chris. But the audience seemed to like the song - and the man. This is the main thing. A Mr Letterman is not Mr America - there a a lot of kind American fans writing in the guesbook of chrisrea.com.

Re: Looking for the summer II

I've always thought David Letterman was one of the reasons Chris never returned to the USA; he was such a pompous ass and rude to Chris, I wouldn't blame him for not wanted to do another show. That song is a good song in any version, but I would love to see him playing it live. Lily B. Hi Lily, hi ...

Looking for the summer II

There is an old live version of looking for the summer from littlecouinie:

Which version do you prefer - this old one or the one he played at his tour 2008?

Take care!

Re: Selling of the new album

Oh no Chris, you are wrong. The new album is the CD of the week on a very popular radio-programme in Germay (HR1). Today I heard "The shadow of a fool" for example. On saturday (I dont know if its the next saturday) they will also give a short report about the CD and the tour on HR3 . Be c...

HBN in Frankfurt

Hi!
The concert was super! Was Chris in other cities that cheerful and lively too? I could have stayed there for hours ...
He played Legacy Blues, I didnt see that song on other playlists. But maybe I am wrong.

Is somebody looking for a ticket in Frankfurt?

I have one ticket left for Frankfurt, cause a friend of mine cannot go to the concert. Maybe someone else is interested in it. I can make it a bit cheaper.
