I found it strange you had to leave the bottles behind, I mean who wants to throw anything against Tina :shoc...

Re: CR Guitars

Hey everyone, Tina, You're very welcome (and thank you very much) :) sorry it took so long. Jim, Thank you, I love that too! Well Javier has soooo many guitars... I guess - only guess - his choice from Squier brand must be the Standard series. The difference between Standard and Affinity is the mate...

Tina Turner Live in Concert

Hey everyone, It's a little bit belated review of Tina's concert of 23 February in Munich Olympiahalle that I had the luck to see. Well, show began at 20.15 with an intro of The Beatles' Get Back sung by Tina (from record yet); then when the audience got into rhythm enough that went to the opening b...

Re: CR Guitars

Hey everyone, I decided to do another guitar description but it's gonna be something different since it's not a CR guitar but a CM :) I'd anyway like to share it with you. So here's my new guitar... Squier Affinity Strat Rosewood (031-0600-525) http://img2.indafoto.hu/2/5/11175_56710c488f68ac4f0fc3d...

Re: Painting of Chris Rea

Hey there, It's a painting by Juan Carlos Ferrigno who usually paints racing cars and pilots. The original painting of this particular one of CR was sold for charity for 3500 pounds. 500 personally and individually signed prints were also sold by Hope of Tomorrow Fund. I suppose all of them are sold...

Re: CR Guitars

Hey Eddie, First of all welcome on board :) Secondly I think the link Pab's posted above can be the most useful one to find a place where you can buy an Italia guitar. In addition, if you ever get to London, let me tell you that as far as we know CR bought his four Maranellos in Denmark Street. The ...

Re: Tour dates

Hey Bart, I know it's a bit of off-topic as you're requesting infos of the Auberge Tour (that I can't help), so sorry for that. But I can let you know the Budapest gig of the Stony Road tour (2002.11.14) was held in the SAP Hall. And if you let me a bit of a correction regarding the Farewell Tour an...

Re: Driving Home For Christmas

Hey, Thanks for the link, not a bad version - actually sounds pretty good with only one guitar. But the voice is too fresh and clean to me :) Somehow every time when I get to sing CR I do it deep and hoarse. Of course my standard singing voice is deep and a bit hoarse but I double that in case of a ...
