Re: If Chris asked you?????

Hi Mark, I like Mark Knopfler too but not as much as Chris.I'm not going to see him this time for 2 reasons. The 1st is because the place for the concert is not good for concerts as the sound is terrible and 2 because Chris takes 1st place and I have been to see him twice so that all I can afford fo...

Re: If Chris asked you?????

Thanks for the link Little Couinie :D I will keep in touch.

Hi Tina, yes I am a big knopfler fan and I will be seeing him next month at the Albert Hall! The set list looks good, a mix of oldies and newies. Are you going to see him on his current tour?

Re: If Chris asked you?????

A fantastic idea! :D :D Hey Little Couinie, I don't know if you remember me but we were 'friends' as is it's called on Myspace? I was under the name of Shangri-la and later on Ragpicker? I also brought your attention to this forum. Anyway we were chatting a while ago about a blues concert you were o...

Re: Chris Rea on Sky April 17th 2008

A great show it was as well. Chris was very relaxed talking about his career from it's beginning until now and he also stated that he has started work on 3 more Ear books already! :D Can't wait for their release. He played a couple of tunes live including Fool and On The Beach and spoke about his re...

Re: If Chris asked you?????

Come on folks I'm sure we all have an opinion or a favourite?

There is a good thread going on at the Mark Knopfler forum on the same subject so I thought it would be interesting to read opinions here.

Re: Royal Albert Hall 28th March

Thanks for the video's and pics, fantastic! It was a good night and your pictures are certainly a lot better than mine. I think the audience was a bit more lively for 'Let's Dance', I was in a box (lucky boy :D ) and there was an elderly chap below us dancing like he was possessed  It was also ...

If Chris asked you?????

So, I know this won't happen, but if Chris Rea asked YOU what you would like him to play at the concert you are attending what would be your choice? A tough one I know but you can only chose 15 songs so what would they be? Here's mine: Lampiou Curse Of The traveller Because Of You Who Do You Love Se...

Paul Casey to support at RAH

I received an e-mail today from the Royal Albert Hall to say that Paul Casey will be supporting Chris Rea on Friday and he will start on stage at 7.30 and Chris Rea will be on stage at 8.30 and not 7.30 as stated on the tickets. Just thought I'd let anyone know, who may be going, about the changes t...

Re: New interview...

Great interview :D and quite a revelation to me that the song 'driving home for Christmas' was originally written by Chris for Van Morrison  I'm glad Chris decided to record it himself though.

Your all time top 10 singles and albums?

I thought this would be an interesting subject so how about it then? What would be your all time top ten records, and not necessarily ones that were released as singles, and your top ten albums? Here's mine but in no particular order as it would take me hours deliberating as to who should be number ...

On the concert of 1984, you can listen to the French Fanpage, Chris is also singing the last verse of "I can hear your heartbeat" as you can hear it on his new version. I thought it was a new verse ... Hi Jutta, Nice to talk to you again.I was wondering could you post a link as I can't sp...
