Re: Harrogate 24/03/12

My first tour was 2004. Nothing makes me happier than knowing Chris is spanning the generations :D I hate to think as he said in one of his interviews its only because of the folk who sampled various tracks in dance records  I hope he realises how lucky he was to see Nell... I wasn't expecting...

Re: Harrogate 24/03/12

I can only agree with the comments above. He never fails to disappoint and this night was no exception. Only thing I might add is that I know audiences tend to be subdued but there was an eirey sense that the audience was just dumbstruck by what they saw. It was surreal. Loved every minute :) The be...

Re: Anything new ?

Hey guys, Must say I'm very excited for the 5th now when I shall hopefully arrive home to a present fresh from Rhino. Just a little something I found whilst surfing the net looking at the youtube videos you all found, I found some samples on amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Last-Open-Road/dp/B00...

Re: What artists do you listen to - besides Chris Rea?

very intresting lists and I wont list all mine i Just wanted to say im suprised no one has mentioned David Coverdale and Whitesnake. I say this because I knw there is a link between DC and CR by the fact both were in a band called Magdeline. ( At different times). From memory it was CR who replaced ...

Re: Chris in Harrogate - DISAPPOINTED !

Please share away!! I do have some rather bad pictures myself as obviously Im restricted to what I can sneak in and not my usual SLR with the vast array of lenses. So my efforts of camera phones etc arent anything spectacular unfortunately tho I have to say that I never got any video footage on my s...

Re: Chris in Harrogate - DISAPPOINTED !

I feel your frustration. As what I think is probably one of the youngest Chris Rea fans out there (Ive been listening to Chris' music since I was 12 which is only a mere 5 years ago) I feel so frustrated at some of the crowds. The music is brilliant and the raw emotion is so moving. I started out li...
