So guys and girls, if I asked you for the definitive list of B sides that should be cut to a double CD, what would they be? For me, it'd be Urban Samurai, And When She Smiles, Love to Love, Let ...

Several times in fact. His last tour here in OZ was to support the release of Dancing with Strangers.

Hi again Chris ! .... and we haven't even touched colored vinyl .... there's another example of marketing surpassing the music. JJ Cale ? Yep, I like him, very laid back. Jimmy Barnes is in fact Australian (pity he can't sing ... he just screams) and he was the front man for a very successful group ...

Totally concur Chris. My "anger" for want of a better word is most definitely not directed toward the artists .... it IS the record companies that are to blame for obsecene practice ... And it's not just Rea or Sprinsgteen as you've rightly pointed out. Remember Zeppelin's "In thru th...

Yes Chris, I bought the "Tracks" boxset ...... but I don't know what annoyed me more .... paying our huge sums on literally dozens of his 45s and 12 inch singles only to be duped by a consolidated release on CD years after the event that has instant appeal to casual fans, or indeed in Rea'...

Chris, Yep ... understand. I remember purchasing "On the Beach on cassette (I already had the vinyl LP) because (and I hope memory serves me corrcetly) it had the additional track of "Crack that mould". It's an annoying habit of some artists to constantly issue CD (and of course 45 rp...

Thank you for the welcome !!

It might not (in fact it doesn't) belong under this section, but is there any reason why these are so few images of CR's singles under the discography section ? I'd love to see that remedied ....

Cheers Mike

Hi all, I just joined the forum ..... and I'm from Melbourne Australia. I've been a huge fan of Chris right from his first album and smash hit single downunder. I have all of his CDs and an extensive collection of 45s (to secure those rare B sides) and really enjoy his music. A hopelessly ignored ar...
